350g chopped onions
60g butter
3 tbsp sweet paprika powder
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 lit meat broth
750g peeled, small diced potatoes
salt and pepper
300g diced Bierschinken
2 tbl sp sour cream


  • Fry onions in heated butter until glazed.
  • Add paprika, tomato paste, broth and potatoes.
  • Let cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add Bierschinken, let cook for another 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Before serving, pour sour cream in the middle of dish.

    Tip: Instead of Bierschinken, use Lyoner, Hunter Sausage or Rookwurst
