NOODLE POT FROM ITALY
4 servings

Ingredients:

250g Penne noodles
salt and pepper
pinch of oregano
30g butter
2 onions
450g Mortadella or Fleischwurst
1 small can peeled tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato paste
100 ml meat broth
1 bunch parsley
spring onions
basil

Preparation:

  • Cook noodles in boiling salt water until al dente
  • Meanwhile, peel onions and chop. Then fry onions in heated butter until soft, without turning brown.
  • Add oregano
  • Take sausage out of skin, slice and add to pan. Fry until brown
  • Add cooked noodles and fry
  • Chop tomatoes and add to frying pan
  • Mix meat broth and tomato paste and add into pan
  • Heat everything up and serve with the chopped herbs and sprinkled with lots of pepper.
